Colony President, Matthew Marter, of our brand new Briarcliffe College Colony (located in Suffolk County on Long Island, in Patchogue, New York) reports that the colony worked with a veteran's support group called Project9line during this past spring semester.
Brother Marter tells us that "Project9line supports Veterans by providing multiple Avenues for them to communicate their experiences to promote a healthy transition back to civilian life. The reintegration process is very difficult and Project9line will assist them in the recovery process."
The brothers of the Briarcliffe College Colony co-sponsored this group's 1st Annual Veteran Pop-Art Show held at the Marconi Manor in Islip, New York on April 30.
We congratulate our brothers at Briarcliffe at getting their start as a new colony by giving APD a good name by performing service to their local community.
