Beta Pi Chapter focused this semester's community service work on two institutions: a Church and a Medical Center. Between January and April this year Beta Pi Chapter performed community service at Kimisis Theotokou Church in Brooklyn, New York and the Beth Israel Medical Center, in Manhattan.
While working at the Church the brothers of Beta Pi helped with landscaping, painting, and various other smaller projects that required their assistance. The Chapter President, Mark Bravin says that the chapter provided, "Extra hands and muscles that allowed projects to be completed quicker than what would of normally been."
During their service at the Beth Israel Medical Center, the brothers of Beta Pi spent most of their time assisting older patients in the 60+ range offering them companionship and aid with any small tasks that were needed. The brothers helped out hosting games and events like bingo, and organizing a movie event.
