Dylan Lackowitz of our Gamma Omicron Chapter at the State University of New York at Stony Brook reports that this past year the Chapter helds its annual Charity Softball Event, from which all proceeds were donated to the Stony Brook University's Children's Hospital. The APD Fall Classic is a charity softball tournament held every early October at Stony Brook University. Its purpose is to raise money and awareness for children in need by collecting donations and sponsorships that are then procured to a reputable chosen charity. Since its inception in 2008, the event has raised over $10,000 and has grown tremendously in scope.
